An ode to the tradition of Canadian nature writing. It is impossible to observe natural landscapes anywhere without some acknowledgement of the grim reality of human development and profiteering on wilderness. This film is shot with a deep respect and love of nature, and a quiet sense of sadness at the devastation it so regularly encounters.
